Alameda International School is a reference center in innovative and active methodologies. With more than 60 years of experience, our teaching model provides our students with the ethical values that will turn them into responsible human beings, so that their actions contribute to a better world. We develop transdisciplinary and individualized learning, focused on solving real-life problems.
Protagonists in a global and changing world
Thanks to our educational program, students develop skills that are increasingly necessary in this global world: they are inquirers, caring, with integrity, open-minded, thinkers, reflective, bold, good communicators and understand the importance of physical, mental and emotional balance.
In addition, from the age of 2, half of the school day is taught in English and French. And from this same stage and up to high school (national and international), students have included programming, robotics, mobile applications and 3D printing in their school curriculum.
Creativity, solidarity and international mentality
Among the star projects of our center is CAOS (Creativity and Alamedas Orchestra Studies), which aims to enhance the talent of each student and works through music, art and theater. We also promote coexistence and solidarity among our students through ‘Alameda Convive’, a peer support program to improve the school climate, in which students are the protagonists of change. And thanks to the international focus of the Primary School Program (PYP) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, our students develop a more global and open vision of the real world around us.
