Description
Alameda International School is a reference center in education, using innovative and active methodologies. With more than 60 years of experience, our teaching model provides our students with the ethical values that will make them responsible human beings, purposely aiming their actions to contribute to achieving a better world. We develop transdisciplinary and individualized learning, focused on the resolution of real-life problems.
Protagonists in a global and changing world
Thanks to our educational program, students develop the increasingly necessary skills to succeed in this global world: they are inquirers, caring, honest, open-minded, thinkers, reflective, risk-takers, good communicators that understand the importance of physical, mental and emotional balance.
In addition, from the age of 2, they receive their instruction in English and French, besides Spanish. It is also from 2 years old till they complete Baccalaureate (National and International), that the school’s curriculum includes: programming, robotics, mobile apps, and 3D printing.
Creativity, Solidarity, and International Mindset
CAOS (Creativity and Alamedas Orchestra Studies) is one of the star projects of our school, it aims to enhance each and every student’s talent through music, art, and drama. The school promotes the development of empathy and the caring nature of our students through the project: ‘Alameda Convive’, a peer-support program to improve the school’s climate, in which students are the protagonists of change.
The International Baccalaureate Programmes, PYP (Primary Years Program), MYP (Middle Years Program), and DP (Diploma Program) focus our students’ minds on developing a greater open vision of the real world around us.
