Description
Our school is independent, not-for-profit and non-denominational, providing a British style education for children aged 3 to 18 from many different countries. The education follows British National Curriculum guidelines, is validated by the Spanish Ministry of Education and inspected regularly by British educational authorities.
The educational model focusses on individualized teaching, with content and pedagogy being adapted to meet specific needs and abilities. Supplementary intervention is provided to students needing additional support, and more able students are stretched and challenged, within lessons and through additional opportunities.
Our educational Vision is ‘To realise the unique potential of each student, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and values to succeed in an ever-changing world, inspire social responsibility and a commitment to lifelong learning’. This aspirational aim guides work, school development and educational priorities with the classroom and into the extensive range of enrichment activities.
The first language English environment is central, as well as the warm and welcoming ambience of a child centred, ‘family’ school. In addition to academic success, the school has a strong commitment to promoting global citizenship, developing lifelong learning skills and the promotion wellbeing strategies.
