Situated in one of the best residential areas of Madrid, Boadilla del Monte lies in the foothills halfway between the city centre and the mountains. The school is ideally located and just forty minutes from Adolfo Suarez International Airport. The town of Boadilla is a mixture of new and old, and has excellent transport links (including a tram) to the city centre, with its incredible history, architecture, museums and culinary delights that have made Madrid such a “must-see” destination for cultural travel enthusiasts.
The school, founded in the 1960’s, has always been at the forefront of teaching methods, combining innovation with traditional values to create a unique learning environment. Whilst our academic track record is among the best in the region, it is not as the expense of other activities: physical education and artistic creativity are seen as essential elements in the development of the individual. Our mission is not only to educate students academically, but also to prepare them as well-balanced, caring, responsible people, who will be ready to face life’s challenges with enthusiasm and resolve.
The school caters for pupils from pre-infant through to university entrance, and boasts superb facilities. In addition to its main site, the school also has a residential facility in Soria, where pupils can enjoy an ‘away from home’ experience with their classmates, discovering first-hand the wonders of nature and rural life.
English is taught from infant school, and all children aged between three and five have between a third and two thirds of theis classes in English, depending on options chosen. A second foreign language is taught from year 5, and English continues right through to the final year, with many subjects in the IB program being given in English.
