SEK International School Ciudalcampo, founded in 1972, is a private international school located in the north of Madrid. Educational Model at SEK International School Ciudalcampo
The educational model at SEK Ciudalcampo is based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum, integrated with the national curriculum. We deliver all three IB programmes:
- Primary Years Programme (PYP): For pupils aged 3–12, focused on inquiry-based learning.
- Middle Years Programme (MYP): For students aged 12–16, with an emphasis on critical thinking and interdisciplinary learning.
- Diploma Programme (DP): For learners aged 16–18, recognised by leading universities worldwide.
In addition, we are the first school in Spain to hold Round Square excellence certification, nurturing global leaders equipped to meet future challenges.
At SEK Ciudalcampo we offer a complete educational pathway from 4 months to 18 years:
- Early Years (0–6 years): Grounded in early stimulation, English immersion, and the development of creativity.
- Primary (6–12 years): Dynamic, collaborative learning through the Primary Years Programme (PYP).
- Secondary (12–16 years): Consolidation of academic and personal competencies via the Middle Years Programme (MYP).
