The British School of Barcelona

The British School of Barcelona (BSB) is an international school of reference in Spain, accredited as “Outstanding in Every Category”, the highest recognition awarded by the English Department for Education (DfE). For 65 years, BSB has enjoyed a solid reputation in Castelldefels and Sitges, and since 2021 also in the city of Barcelona.
BSB four differentiating features stand out: the search for academic excellence as a passport to the best Spanish and world universities; highly personalised learning that fosters individual growth; attention to the development of future skills in all educational stages, and an exceptional personal, social and academic support program for each of the students. BSB is a pioneer in offering two international training pathways for pre-university preparation: the British curriculum and the International Baccalaureate diploma (IB “International Baccalaureate”), alongside the validation of Spanish qualifications.
